Instagram shows an account’s followers to people who are logged in, as one long list with no dates. FollowGlance shows the same public information without an Instagram account, and starts with the people who followed most recently.

Viewing a following list
The following list goes the other way: the accounts this profile follows. A free check shows the newest 2 in full. The unlocked report shows up to about 100, newest first, with a New label on follows since the last check.
Most people who look up a follower list want both directions anyway: who is following the account, and who the account is following. Here they sit on the same page, so you don’t have to switch between two lists the way you do in the app.
What you can and can’t see
You can see:
- the newest followers and the newest follows, newest first;
- names, usernames, photos and verified badges;
- which entries are new since the last check, and when we first saw them.
You can’t see:
- private accounts;
- the full list of an account with thousands of followers: we read the newest;
- who unfollowed the account;
- follow dates from Instagram, which it never shares.

Why only the newest?
Big accounts have long lists, and the interesting part is almost always at the top: the people and accounts that arrived lately. Reading the newest entries keeps each check fast and the price low. A note on privacy

How do I view someone’s follower list?
Type their username at the top of this page. A free check shows the profile and the newest follows; unlock the account to view its newest followers too.
Can I see the full list if it’s long?
No. We read the newest entries: about 25 followers and up to about 100 follows on an unlocked report. That’s where the recent changes are.
Can I view a following list too?
Yes. The same report shows the newest accounts the profile follows. A free check shows the newest 2 of them in full.
Do I need to log in?
No Instagram login, ever. You only sign in to FollowGlance to unlock a report or keep it in My reports.
Can I view a private account’s list?
No. Private lists are for approved followers only. We check public accounts, and you’re never charged for a private one.
Can I sort the list?
The lists come newest first, which is the order most people want. Other sorting isn’t available yet.
Why is the list hidden in the app?
Instagram hides the lists of private accounts and shows public ones only after you log in. On a public account the list is there, but without dates.
Does it show mutual followers?
Not as a separate list. Followers and follows sit on the same page, so you can spot names that appear in both, among the newest entries.
Can I view a list on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser and paste the profile link from Instagram.
