Cookie Policy

The cookies FollowGlance sets, and how to refuse them.

Last updated: 2026-10-28

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. These are the cookies FollowGlance sets, what each one does and how long it stays.

Needed for the site to work

  • Sign-in session (better-auth.session_token and related better-auth.* cookies): keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out or the session ends.
  • Language (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE): remembers the language you picked. 400 days.
  • Account menu (sidebar_state): remembers whether the menu in your account is open. 7 days.
  • Cookie choice (cookie_consent): remembers your answer when we ask about cookies. 1 year.
  • Theme (app_theme): remembers a theme color, only if you pick one. 1 year.

Where you came from

  • Campaign (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content): the campaign in the link you arrived from. 30 days.
  • Referring site (first_referrer): the website that sent you here. 30 days.

We use these two to see which links bring people who sign up. They are our own cookies, and we don’t share them with ad networks. We set them only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or change your answer later, we delete them.

Third parties

We don’t use advertising cookies. If we turn on an analytics tool or Google sign-in, it may set its own cookies, and we will list them here before we do. Google’s sign-in prompt can set cookies before you click it.

Payment happens on Creem’s checkout page, which sets its own cookies under Creem’s terms.

How to refuse

Click Reject in the cookie banner. To change your answer later, open Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in session, you can’t sign in. Blocking the others doesn’t stop the site from working.
